course for other technicians and inspectors who want to upgrade
calculator math and statistics skills. Cost:
$195.00 per student Description: This is a one day course designed to provide calculator
training for technicians, inspectors, engineers, and managers who
are preparing to take a certification exam. Exams have time
restrictions that require good time management in completing the
exam. The majority of the exams require math and statistical
calculations. Knowing the calculator
keystrokes will give you an edge with those calculations.
Non-programmable calculators are required for most exams. All
students will be provided a scientific calculator (TI30Xa or
equivalent) for use in class. Specific keystrokes for a common model
will be used in class.
Course: Basic Statistical Process Control -
2 days
Who Should Attend:
Quality managers, production workers,
quality technicians, calibration technicians, and anyone else
who desires an understanding of basic SPC
principles. Cost: $695.00 per
student Description: This
course will provide practical instruction on the fundamental
statistical tools used in SPC. This course also provides a basic
understanding of control charts for both variables and
attribute sampling. Workshop problems will be used to apply the
presented techniques.
Both of these
courses are taught together. See both
outlines.?> Who Should Attend: This course
is designed to prepare Quality Technicians and Quality
Inspectors to pass the ASQ certification exam for the CQT.

covers each section of the document and provides tips for meeting
the various requirements before the assessment takes place.
This
course is designed to introduce quality managers, calibration lab
managers, technical managers, and calibration technicians to the
subject of measurement uncertainty. Cost:
$695.00 per student Description:
This course provides the participant with an
overview of measurement uncertainty including applied statistical
principles, measurement applications, types of distributions, type A
and type B errors, individual error components, development of an
uncertainty budget, calculations for combined uncertainty,
expanded uncertainty, and reporting uncertainty to customers.
Uncertainty budgets will be analyzed in class
exercises.
Course: Certified Calibration Technician
Preparation - 3 days
Who Should Attend:
This course is designed to assist the calibration
technician or quality worker to pass the ASQ CCT exam. Additional
study may be required to pass the
exam. Requirements: Participants should be
